Our music school recommends taking flute lessons from the age of seven.
Students can take recorder lessons as early as the age of five and learn the necessary skills to play other woodwind instruments such as flute. |

Program Description
In the beginning, students will focus on note reading, rhythm reading and recognition, as well as coordination of eyes, fingers and breath. Learning correct breathing patterns is necessary to master any woodwind instrument, and is also beneficial for the health of students as they gradually expand their breathing capabilities and stamina. After learning all the fundamentals, students are introduced to a wide range of music styles. Woodwind instruments are actually very versatile and mix well with any type of music (for example, blues, jazz, and Latin tunes).

- We offer exam preparation for all levels of RCM Examination (program offered by the Royal Conservatory of Music) as well as Teacher’s Diploma. In many school systems, RCM Exam completion is accepted as a credit towards secondary school graduation.
